One of the most surprising things about running this year has been what it’s done for my mental health. It seems to have become more than about physical fitness.
A byproduct I wasn’t expecting. More than a time for thinking, it’s been time to think about what am thinking about.
A space to process. Taking in gulps of oxygen both the literal and figurative. An outlet for some stress and sanity topper.
Am wondering if it is now more about mental than physical health. Grateful for the gift of health and movement.
Still learning how to run and live. I guess I’m discovering or being profoundly reminded that you do both by doing.
